The 2008 Tibetan unrest was the template for this sculpture, where the dragons (China) menace the Buddha (Tibet). At first the idea was to create a bunch of dragons and duplicate these to show the advantage of the higher Chinese population. Due to the short amount of time, this idea was scrapped.

Low poly modeling in Maya, high poly modeling in ZBrush. Mainly procedural textures were used. Compositing in After Effects.
